The 2013 annual Potato Festival will be held Sept. 7 at Chapman Park in Monte Vista, Colo.
We will be having an all-new "Potato Obstacle Course" this year!
To participate:
* Must be 18 or older to participate.
* $5 entry fee per team (to be donated to Red Cross for fire relief efforts).
* You must have a team of two people.
Other information about the event:
* The Potato Obstacle Course will begin at 4 p.m.
* Registration will be open all day (8 a.m.-beginning of the event)
* There will be several stations related to potatoes and potato harvest.
* It will be a timed event, whichever team makes it through the obstacle course with the fastest time wins.
* It is open to men and women.
* Cash prize will be awarded.
