Brandt, a leading manufacturer of agricultural specialty products, announced that Rich Sowieralski has joined the company as territory sales manager over the Pacific Northwest for the specialty formulations group.

Based in Washington state and reporting to Rodger Younker, specialty formulations national sales director, Sowieralski’s primary focus will be on driving sales of specialty ag products in the Northwest under the guidance of regional sales manager Dan Pinther.

A seasoned sales executive with 25 years of experience in agriculture, Sowieralski was a territory sales rep for Miller Chemical & Fertilizer for the past seven years before joining Brandt. At Miller, he represented a diverse product line of adjuvants, PGRs, soil amendments and dry soluble fertilizers in seven states in the Northwest. Previously, he held leadership positions at Simplot, Western Farm Service and Agway. Sowieralski has an associate’s degree in marketing from Montgomery County (Pa.) Community College and a bachelor’s in business administration from Penn State University.

“I am looking forward to this opportunity,” said Sowieralski. “I have known Brandt for a long time and I’m eager to represent their full line of ag products.”
