Farm At Hand introduces a new suite of premium features starting with Crop Planner, a planning tool to take farmers from 30,000-foot plans down to field specific prescriptions.
“We believe farm management software should be simple and make managing your farm easier,” says Farm At Hand CEO Mark Lepp. “Crop Planner is the first of a new suite of premium features we will be launching over the next 12 months, including improved contracts, traceability and enhanced reporting.”
Crop Planner is designed to help growers easily plan their upcoming crop year and collaborate with trusted advisors all in one spot, easily turning plans into tracked activities come spring.
This is the first venture into paid features for the cloud-based farm management software, which has offered a free platform for growers since its founding in 2012. The new tool works as a standalone feature or in conjunction with Farm At Hand Agronomy, a platform for agronomists that launched in September in a partnership with Univar Canada.
“The existing Farm At Hand platform will remain free,” says Glen Kroeker, the company’s vice president of innovation and operations. “Our goal with the new premium features is to help our users get more value out of the information they are tracking and to make it easier for them to collaborate with their trusted advisors.”
Crop Planner is available as part of Farm At Hand Premium for $499 per year.
