The following update from the North American RaboResearch team focuses on how the processing and distribution segments of the food supply chain are responding to the dislocation in food demand. The short note discusses the challenges (or lack of) food processors are facing to convert production from foodservice to retail items, aiming to ensure supply at grocery stores and offset losses from lower foodservice activity. The sectors included are:
