Okay, so while we thought the headline was kind of a catchy one, technically, it’s not quite accurate.

Last week, Eastern Idaho’s Valley Point Farms, owned by Brian and Brook Bybee, was planting potatoes about as close to Rexburg, Idaho’s (population 39,409) city limits as you can get. This field, located at the corner of South Yellowstone Highway and Poleline Road, is about a third of a mile from the city limits.

The field and planting made for some interesting photos, what with a hotel, house and several businesses close by. Normally when we capture farming photos, it’s not close to any of those things.

But here are a few of our favorites from last week’s planting.
