A full field of golfers and fairly decent weather conditions along with an excellent golf course at the Idaho Falls Country Club made for an ideal 33rd annual Potato Grower Magazine Golf Tournament earlier this week.
Those golfers who participated in last year’s golf tournament might remember the rather gusty winds that prevailed that day, which made for some tough golfing and plenty of dusty conditions.
Several teams were vying for prizes and money with the first place team edging out second place by just two strokes. The team of Travis Mallory, Chay Courtright, Tyler Heward and Zac Zollinger won the 33rd annual Potato Grower Magazine Golf Tournament with a score of 59, followed by Bart Wattenbarger, Brennan Wattenbarger, Ryan Wattenbarger and Andy Lundquist, who shot a 61.
