The Maine Potato Summit will be held on Jan. 3-4, 2024, at the Smith Wellness Center at Northern Maine Community College located at 33 Edgemont Drive, Presque Isle, ME 04769.
The Board kicks off the event on Wednesday, Jan. 3 with its vendor trade show starting at 1 p.m. The Board says it has an incredible list of vendors this year such as Active Intelligence Drone Service, Agri-Cal, Bayer, CaroVail, Farm Credit East, Hartland Agromart, Nutrien Ag Solution, Syngenta, United Ag & Turf and many more.
Vendors will have an opportunity to speak during the tradeshow to introduce themselves and give an overview of what’s new in their company. Following the tradeshow, there will be a social event with a cocktail hour and reception with food. The reception will be a great opportunity to connect with those vendors to speak more on their products as well as other industry representatives and fellow growers.
Thursday, Jan. 4 there will be a full day of research and presentations. Presentations cover a wide range of topics, along with updates from the National Potato Council, Potatoes USA and Maine Board of Pesticide Control.
