Don’t ever ask me to apologize for my love of Ore-Ida tater tots.

As a kid, I always looked forward to tater tots and cheeseburgers at school. And I didn’t want no Safeway brand. No generic mumo jumbo. I wanted Ore-Ida.

But little did I know back then that, while I thought Idaho was the potato capital of the United States, the Ore in Ore-Ida actually stands for Oregon. And the production for these little bundles of joy is actually in Ontario, Oregon.
