The first-ever tater tot festival took place in eastern Idaho in August to celebrate all things to do with tater tots while also bringing awareness to a good cause.
One of the highlights of the two-day festival were, of course, free tater tots. But there was plenty of other family-friend events, activities and booths to keep folks entertained.
Leslie Grigg was the mastermind behind the event and is the great nephew of the tater tot’s founder. Grigg used the event to not only celebrate tater tots but also to shine a light on and raise money to help prevent child abuse.
Here are a few photos from the two days of the festival. All photos are by Maudie Heard, editor of Idaho Falls Magazine.
