Tara Artho has joined the Colorado Potato Administrative Committee as its new executive director, replacing the retiring Jim Ehrlich. Artho will be based out of CPAC’s Monte Vista, CO, headquarters.
She was born and raised on a farm in the Texas Panhandle. She graduated Cume Laude with a B.A. degree in Radio, TV, Film Communications from the University of North Texas. She worked in radio production for a group of stations in Dallas for nearly a decade before moving back to the ag space.
After two years as the Communications and PR Director for Texas Grain and Feed Association she was promoted to President/CEO of the association.
Recently she relocated to Colorado and accepted the roll as executive director for the Colorado Potato Administration Committee.
With Ehrlich retiring she will have big shoes to fill, but says she is excited to learn more about the potato industry and explore all the San Luis Valley has to offer.
