Leaders of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce have tabbed the passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) as its top policy priority for 2019. While there is disagreement among some in the ag community, pro-trade organizations such as the National Retail Federation (NRF) are lining up with the Chamber in full support the USMCA. September is the earliest that the free trade agreement can be passed with congress currently in recess.
