United Nations Figures Show China Leads World In Potato Production, U.S. Fifth

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations China leads the world in potato production, followed not so closely by India.

Ukraine is third in potato production, followed by the Russian Federation and then the United States.

The rankings are for 2022, the most recent year the figures are available from the FAO.

Here are the top 10 potato producing countries in the world for 2022 according to the FAO. All units are in tons.
