Tampa, Fla. — Adam Ivey has joined BRANDT as Senior Director of Specialty Formulations, U.S., reporting to Matt Ingram, VP, Sales. In this new role, Ivey will be responsible for BRANDT’s US national agriculture sales team as well as the company’s national account relationships.

“Welcome Adam! Over the past six months, we’ve added Matt Ingram and now Adam Ivey. This is the dream team of ag input sales,” said Rick Brandt, President & CEO of BRANDT. “With these two moves, we’ve expanded our retail relationships, infused our organization with a jolt of energy and implemented a new organization in our specialty formulations business.”

Ivey joins BRANDT after 15 years at WinField United where he quickly moved up the ranks after joining as a seed and agronomy advisor associate. Most recently, he was Senior Director of Seed & Retail Alliances where he led a team of qualified marketers and field execution leaders. He was responsible for creating and implementing WinField United’s seed and retail alliance strategic engagement plan. As part of this role, he managed a $2 billion/year seed distribution business and oversaw long term retail supply contracts of roughly $3 billion/year of annual ag input sales.

“I loved my time at WinField United and I’m proud of the team and the capabilities that I helped build. I can take this new job knowing I’m leaving them in a good place,” said Ivey. “BRANDT represents a new and different challenge. At BRANDT, I’m looking forward to helping to optimize sales of a tremendous portfolio of micronutrients, enzymes and planter box technologies.”

Ivey will create a powerful go-to-market tandem with Ingram in this new role.

“This is really exciting for me personally,” explained Ingram. “Adam and I have worked together a long time. I know he’ll come in, hit the ground running and help to implement all the change we’re undergoing in the BRANDT organization.”

Ivey has a graduate certificate in agronomy from Iowa State University and a BS in Agriculture from the University of Tennessee, Martin.
