The Idaho Potato Commission (IPC) has added a new “Grower Relations Tab” under the “Industry” section of the commission's website: https://idahopotato.com/industry/grower-resources.
Here you will find a number of useful tools that will help you throughout the year. These include:
- Disease and pest information sheets
- Food safety guidelines for production, harvest, storage and packing of potatoes
- Training videos
- Safety and health topics geared toward ag operations from OSHA
- Good harvest practices for maintaining quality
- Protection information against seed-borne diseases
- Hazard sheets for helping ag workers safely avoid common ag-related injuries
