Selma, CA – T. G. Schmeiser Co., Inc. announces new narrow transport options for the Folding Till an’ Pak soil finishing line of equipment.

The Till an’ Pak was invented by T.G. Schmeiser as a tool to level, pulverize and pack the soil after plowing or discing. As farming practices modernized, T.G. Schmeiser adapted by adding hydraulic transport kits for increased mobility between fields.  Eventually, growers demanded folding units to safely transport the widest units for maximum efficiency.

T.G. Schmeiser has taken the next step with the Folding Till an’ Pak by adding narrower transport options across the product line. An 11-foot wide transport width is available on units up to 26-foot working width while a 13-foot transport width is available on units up to 30 feet wide.

Cory Cummings, VP of Sales at T.G. Schmeiser explains, “Today’s growers are incredibly resilient when it comes to increased regulation and encroachment from population centers. Our job is to adapt our product offering and listen to them. The narrower transport widths are a direct result of grower feedback.”

The Folding Till an’ Pak is offered in widths from 16-36 feet with both 14/20 and 16/22 Schmeiser Ductile rings. Units come equipped with 2-3/16-inch bearings and a 6-inch overlap between roller sections to ensure a uniform finish.
